BHO live concentrates are among the best in the state. Our extraction specialists make all different types of processed and live products, in every texture imaginable.

What can you tell us about the process used to create Panda Fruits products?

We use many fun and unique extraction and infusion techniques, for example:

To make a complete extract of hemp oil, we use a technology called “Ultra Critical Ethanol Filtration” to extract FECO from the milled plant material.

In the case of Fast Acting Nano Gum, we use a method known as nanoemulsification to reduce the particle size of our THC oil, making it more readily available to your system.

What distinguishes panda fruits from other foods in space?

Quality and reliability. The fact that we flavor and color our candy bars with real fruit puree sets us apart from nearly all of the competitors in the state, plus our gummies are designed to preserve their flavor and texture throughout their shelf life, rather than getting slushy, soggy, or dry out.

You have two lines of chocolate, Panda and Medusa – what makes each unique?

Panda is all about using top-shelf ingredients to revitalize the flavor profiles we all know and love.

Medusa is about breaking out of the ordinary and exploring new, bold and complex flavor profiles. Because of the big add-ons like candied orange peel and hazelnut noise, Medusa bars are entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques.

What is the biggest obstacle you face in a manufacturing facility like this?

What people in all industries are facing right now: delays in the supply chain.

How did you find your way to work with cannabis?

Watching the profound potential of cannabis to relieve the physical and emotional pain that often afflicts those receiving end-of-life care. Cannabis has an amazing ability to distract attention away from the pain and back into the moment. This makes all the difference when it comes to being able to be present and even find some joy during a difficult and draining part of life.

I’ve found, in particular, that gourmet foods or even very tasty foods can help get rid of the “medical cold” of using cannabis to control pain. There is a lot of cannabis in the mind, so taking your medication is fun, even indulgent can help pave the way for a therapeutic trial.

What does medical marijuana mean to you?

Medical marijuana should mean the portals are open for legitimate clinical study of the endocannabinoid system. It must mean university-funded characterization of all compounds in the cannabis plant with open reference data. I think it will, eventually, mean these things, but we’re not there yet.

The endocannabinoid system has the potential to be (among other things) the missing link between modern neuroscience and some homeopathy traditions. It can explain much of the “noise” in our physical chemistry and likely plays a key role in our bodies’ nearly inexplicable ability to maintain homeostasis.

What lessons have you learned from day one until now?

gratitude. September 5th marks three years since I’ve been called up on this project. It’s been a wild ride, with tough losses, but seeing the company and the people around me grow has changed my life. I am more grateful for the process now, and I value the time I spend with others more.

What gets you excited about cannabis?

Curiosity of. The way the cannabis plant interacts with our internal signaling systems is remarkable. It’s a new frontier. I think the way we look at the role of the endocannabinoid system in maintaining homeostasis and a healthy immune system will be very different 30 years from now.

What do you think is the best way to consume cannabis?

I think the strong, edible euphoria is more intense and enjoyable than smoking or taking molasses, but I find molasses to be more relaxing and often moody. If you’re going to take a high dose of food, you need to put in some time, get ready with cheese puffs and Lego, and pack up.

What is the best advice someone has ever given you?

Just approaching the situation with love allows you to see all the options available to you.
